  25. Hmmm. Being in a bit of a quest for A1200 demos myself, I have found that 
  26. the Point Of Sale demo doesn't appear to work on the new machines due to 
  27. the DISKREADY problem. However, I can recommend Chris Handley's 
  28. collection of 40K demos on an autobooting disc which is now playing in 
  29. the Escom store where I work (with any luck they will have figured out 
  30. how to switch it on while I'm not there to do it for them!).

  32.     It's found on the Aminet at demo/aga/ShopDemo.lha (that's the PAL 
  33. version). There's also an NTSC version.

  35.     What I'd REALLY like is for a new demo to be written specially 
  36. for the retail trade. You can download a copy of the Escom, and Amiga 
  37. logo from my web page, if you like. Bear in mind that it'd have to be a 
  38. FAMILY thing ie. no swearing, preferably no jibes at PeeCees (but if you 
  39. do make sure that it's very brief, in case the area manager is in the 
  40. neighbourhood!).
